At the filter laboratory of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, micronAir cabin air filters are tested using state-of-the-art test bench technology. Alongside standardized performance testing according to national and international standards, the testing experts carry out additional special tests under significantly harsher conditions. These include, for example, exposing the filters to atmospheric dusts, soot and synthetic fine dusts under specific flow or moisture conditions as well as elevated dust concentrations, tests under extreme climatic conditions and many more. Before the development of a new filter is successfully completed, the filter is subjected to many practical testing procedures in addition to the laboratory tests. This performance data provides valuable knowledge, which also forms the basis for the on-going development of our products and optimal advice to our customers.
