celebrates 50 years in Hopkinsville

Founded in 1975 as Pellon Corporation, the site has continuously evolved – from its beginnings in nonwoven interlining to becoming a key hub of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies’ filtration expertise in the U.S.

Important milestones along the way include the launch of the world’s first automotive HEPA-type cabin air filter, the expansion of capacity for high-speed filter production, and the establishment of a Filtration Science Lab as part of the filtration specialist’s global Filtration Science Lab network. 

To mark the occasion, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies hosted a special celebration that brought together employees, longtime business partners, and community leaders.  

The celebration also marked the official unveiling of the upgraded Filtration Science Lab, equipped with cutting-edge technology. The lab enhances Freudenberg Filtration Technologies’ testing capabilities and supports customized filtration solutions for customers across industries.
