Viledon Engineering: A project that was completely to MEGGLE’s taste

What does Freudenberg Filtration Technologies have to do with MEGGLE’s herb butter and pharmaceutical lactose? Well, at least a little. Because we recently designed and built a new filter house for MEGGLE at the firm’s headquarters in Wasserburg (Southern Germany). The handover of the new fi lter house took place just a few weeks ago and represents a nother flagship project for the new “Engineering Projects” business unit, globally established on 1 January this year.

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies introduces Viledon Hydrotexx ECO made with PCR polyester

On the recycle front, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies is proud to introduce new Viledon® Hydrotexx ECO – green filtration media made with PCR polyester. PCR, or Post-Consumer Recycle, means extending the life-cycle of an original product for reuse into another application. PCR comes from converting used polyester bottles into a raw material that can be fed into the manufacturing process. About 23% of all polyester bottles in the US are recovered through recycling and reprocessing.
