The tunnel effect: the vehicles ahead cause an "exhaust tunnel". The pollutants released are drawn into the vehicle interior in concentrated form resulting in pollutant concentrations that are far higher than outside the vehicle. In vehicles without a cabin air filter, concentration levels may be as much as six times higher than values at the roadside. The possible consequences include headaches, nausea and allergic reactions.

micronAir cabin air filters consist of a multi-layered filter medium. The medium has a high-arrestance design, surrounded by a prefilter layer and a backing layer. The prefilter and microfiber layers form a progressive structure, with fiber fineness and density increasing towards the clean-air side.
This ensures effective deep-bed filtration, and uniform, maximized dust storage coupled with good air permeability.
