Viledon Accessories

Mounting frames for air filters:

  • Application: Construction and rebuilding of air handling systems with any desired dimensions.
  • Use: Secure holding of Viledon pocket filters and cassette filters (MaxiPleat, NanoPleat, CarboPleat, DuoPleat).
  • Construction: Stainless high-grade steel (Material 1.4301) or galvanised steel sheet (U-St 1203), burr-free, inherently rigid, in 4 sizes, positive clamp spring system with mechanical locking
  • A silicone-free plug-on gasket with metal insert and hollow compartment is supplied with each mounting frame.

Viledon plug-on gasket for mounting frames:

  • Made of a U-shaped metal carrier profile and a closed-pore rubber jacketing with integral sealing lips and hollow compartment
  • Can be fitted without tools simply by pressing the gasket by hand onto the metal edge
  • The gasket is kept in place by the clamping effect of the rubber lips, adhesive or special fixing agents are not required
  • The Viledon plug-on gasket is weatherproof and thermally stable within a range from approx. -40°C to +100°C, and also extremely long-lasting
  • Highly flexible - silicone-free
  • Test certificate on paint compatibility from an independent test institute (Fraunhofer Institute, Stuttgart)
  • Color of the gasket: black

Installation instruction for the plug-on gasket

  • Begin assembly in the middle of one side - not in a corner!
  • Fit the gasket onto the mounting frame with the hollow compartment facing inwards.
  • Form the corners completely, without overstretching the gasket.
  • Continue fitting the gasket until you reach the starting point.
  • Check the correct position of the gasket before cutting to length.
  • Cut the gasket to length with a right-angled cut, leaving an overlength of approx. 5 mm, and join the two ends together.
